In order to create a modern-looking, fitted pair of shorts that pull double duty, Giro went with a predominantly nylon fabric. The obvious benefits of nylon are the ability to wick moisture, keep the body cool, and breathe well, and by adding in a flexible spandex to the equation, the shorts move with the legs while in the cycling position. The shorts were strategically cut to stretch and move efficiently and effortlessly, while retaining that sleek, fitted look. The lack of extra clutter is a clue that these shorts were built first and foremost for riding, but there is a hidden-zipper thigh pocket and two rear pockets for the essentials. Pair these with Giro's Undershorts for the ultimate riding support, or wear them alone for more casual rides.
